An Application Development Manager is required for an exciting opprtunity with our industry leading and fast growing global client.
This is a predominantly remote based role and whilst the preference would the UK, the successful applicant could equally be located in Ireland, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Poland or the Netherlands.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the development team in the delivery of all technical development work relating to systems and data landscape as well as take a high level view of the exisiting architecture to simplify and remove any unneccesary complexity
You will ensure that all technical development work is documented and maintained in line with best practices of SDLC and that the existing systems and data landscape, remains operational 24/7
You will be a mentor for both team members and stakeholders in best practices and modern technologie as well as liaise with broader IT team and business leaders to develop and maintain technology or data solutions to create business value.
You will need to demonstrate much of the following experience:
- Demonstratable experience of leading a number of concurrent development projects and programs in a fast-moving complex environment
- Demonstratable experience of leading a number of global business stakeholder within a global organization
- Demonstratable experiences and knowledge in the architecting and implementation of solutions utilizing Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, Power BI, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform – Automate/Apps)
- Demonstratable experience and knowledge in the designing/architecting Datawarehouse solutions that integrate into enterprise-wide solutions (eg ERP, CRM, QMS, PLM etc.) using Boomi
- Demonstratable experiences of a number of EDI standards (eg X12 EDI)
- Demonstratable experience and knowledge in the data entity modelling
- Familiar with Salesforce development, architecture and data models
- Demonstratable experience and knowledge in the architecting and implementation of auxiliary systems (eg scanning, printing etc.) into an companies system landscape
- Demonstratable experience of leading the full software delivery and project lifecycle in a compliance related industry
- Demonstrable experience of leading support teams in the operations support of application in a global 24/7 operational business
- Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, and flat file documents using Javascript and/or Java
- Experience working with technologies like SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, XSD, JSON, APIs.
- Experience working with .NET programming languages and SQL Server development using T-SQL
