Project Manager with experience of delivering business change, digital solutions, ecommerce or agile software application projects is required for our global FMCG / Retail customer.
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, managing, and delivering simultaneous business driven projects that typically have a digital solution orientation (normally 2-6 at any one time), for UK corporate business channels to ensure regional alignment, implementation and adoption.
Current business projects within the PMO pipeline include an EPOD Electronic Proof of Delivery (Sign on Glass) by Microlise, Cirrus Telephony, Zendesk Customer Ticketing System, ecommerce solutions, learning management systems, Time & Attendance – HR & Payroll systems, corporate intranets, mobile apps and other business system implementations, integrations or upgrades.
Project Managers applying must have strong ‘hands-on’ delivery execution skills (rather than being just process, programme or strategy focused), with proven experience of managing 3rd party vendors and IT teams in the delivery of the full E2E product lifecycle (cradle to grave) following Prince and Agile.
Project Managers must have proven stakeholder engagement skills (particularly in managing expectations from business/corporate departments); tactful soft-interpersonal skills; matrix management and resource management skills; managing Business Analyst output in requirements gathering and experience of delivering solutions utilising cross-functional teams.
Project Managers should consider themselves to be self-starters / go-getters with proven business, stakeholder, and IT engagement skills. A confident, proactive, collaborative, and decisive Project Manager requiring minimal supervision, skilled in prioritising multiple items and delivering at pace with a sleeves rolled-up approach.
