Digital Delivery Manager is required to grow, develop and deliver an ever expanding portfolio of digital omni-channel software development projects for our global FMCG Retail client following a recent promotion.
The successful Digital Delivery Manager will have ultimate control and responsibility for driving B2B and B2C initiatives across the UK and Europe, to grow market share by building engagement, improving the E2E customer experience across all retail channels and to become leading edge.
Digital Delivery Managers will be responsible for plate spinning, project managing and delivering multiple simultaneous product / software development initiatives to include European B2B and B2C platform migrations and integrations; B2B electronic ordering transitions; ERP and EDI platform integrations; central platform integrations; solution integrations with key account customers, small independents, retail and trade customers; customer employee engagement portal solutions; corporate website and intranet portals; click & collect & home delivery solution enhancements; digital in-store experience solutions and many more.
Digital Delivery Managers will be empowered to review current internal processes and to make changes where appropriate, with responsibility for managing and developing local and remote digital teams; managing and overseeing 3 software suppliers to deliver products / software solutions on time and to budget; engaging with the digital business team on solution requirements and delivery; engaging with change advisory boards and technical authorities for IT governance; engaging with IT infrastructure and IT cyber security teams to ensure systems are patched and engaging with teams globally.
Digital Delivery Managers applying will be expected to have proven experience of driving and project managing software vendors and internal digital teams to deliver multiple simultaneous B2B or B2C omni-channel, digital, ecommerce or software products following agile and the full SDLC to qualify.
Digital Delivery Managers should consider themselves as a self-starter and go-getter with proven business, stakeholder, and IT engagement skills. A confident, proactive, collaborative, and decisive individual able to stand up, push back and not be afraid to ask for help if needed. A Manager who can prioritise effectively and work in a fast-moving changeable corporate environment requiring minimal supervision, a calm level head and a sleeves rolled-up approach to firefighting if needed.
This position would suit Digital Managers, Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, Web Managers and Software Managers with a passion for delivering digital products / software solutions to enhance the B2C and B2B customer journeys across all channels.
This position is remote working with site visits as required, but can also offer hybrid home/office working in various locations if requested.
