Business Analyst with IT project delivery experience is required to join an established PAN European PMO team to assist Project Managers in the delivery of multiple IT Infrastructure and Application Solution delivery projects for this Global FMCG/Retail client.
These PAN European IT projects have arisen following years of mergers & acquisitions involving multiple brands across multiple countries and include – Data Centre Consolidations and Virtualisations, Physical and Virtual IT Network upgrades, Telephony Upgrades/Implementations, ServiceNow Implementations, EUC upgrades and implementations and core business application integrations to name a few.
The successful Business Analyst will be someone who has proven experience of working with IT teams, gathering functional / non-function IT requirements from internal customers / functions which are then used to either select an existing or new supplier / product, whilst following a Waterfall model. Business Analyst will also be expected to participate in scoping, analysing the as-is & to-be, modelling/designing the solutions, UAT, training, mapping/writing business processes, diagramming data flows, translating technical information into non-technical information and vice versa, and providing the necessary documentation to aid Project Managers in the delivery of IT solutions.
Business Analysts applying will be expected to have a logical, pragmatic, positive and self-driven attitude with the ability to thrive in a remote working setting and collaborate in an agile environment where clear communication, simplicity and minimal down time is essential to maintain core trading.
Business Analysts must have tactful soft interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate articulately across a range of departments and levels of seniority, particularly when managing expectations across IT and business/corporate departments that involve multiple company brands across multiple countries and cultures.
Business Analysts should consider themselves to be self-starters with proven business, stakeholder, and IT engagement skills. Confident, proactive, collaborative, decisive, prioritising multiple items when delivering at pace with a sleeves rolled-up approach a requiring minimal supervision.
