Interim Finance Manager

Interim Finance Manager is required to perform a “hands on” and work alone role managing all aspects of the day to day accounting for 15 Countries across Europe.

The role sits within the Central European Digital Marketing and Sales Diversion of a Global Technology Distribution organisation.  This is mainly a work alone role with some supervision of a small invoicing team. Our client is looking for a candidate who can “roll their sleeves up” and get things done as opposed to just managing other people.

Our clients Accounting function requires specialist all round support and the initial task of the Interim Finance Manager will be to put in a structure across Finance covering invoicing and Payroll as well as other accounting functions.


Hands on management of month end processes and preparation of month end reporting
Prepare monthly P&L view (forecast vs actuals) with detailed breakdowns to inform improvement and drive success
Perform monthly Balance Sheet account analysis
Produce comprehensive month-end reporting for leadership team
Implement appropriate procedures and controls to enable effective financial management
Oversee financial transactions and related payment controls
Implement processes to track and monitor costs (payroll and OSG&A)
Implement processes to track and monitor income and profit
Manage monthly payroll function, overseeing payroll processing and responding to any payroll queries
Banking transaction approvals
Provide financial expertise support to monitor, adjust and enhance our Agency charging model and Rate Card
Produce accurate P&L projections by managing the cost forecast process, together with detailed analysis and KPI reporting
Coordinate the financial budgeting process to ensure alignment with stakeholders
Work with the appropriate internal Finance team(s) to ensure VAT returns are checked for compliance prior to sign-off
Knowledge of Xero and SAP beneficial

Contract | 6 months + extensions | Remote (occasional visits to Liverpool office may be required)
